Kailash Mansarovar Yatra happens once in a lifetime. In Hinduism, the idea of spirituality drives the pilgrims to perform religious acts. In a similar way, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra has become an annual ritual for the pilgrims to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. Mountains are always sanctified areas to perform meditation. It is believed in mythical ages, sages, hermits and even god took refuge to the mountains. Nirvana is a celebrated idea among the pilgrims to follow the path of celibacy. This mystic trek requires a complete faith to own self and the devoted god. Those who practice tantra are devoted completely to Lord Shiva. In Hinduism, he is believed to be the ultimate divine figure from whom cosmic energy starts. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a spiritual trek where one takes a leap of faith. Kailash Yatra is like a recognition of own self in the path of divinity. It is believed through the eyes of Lord Shiva, one rediscovers own self. In the path of penance, one has to endure hardship. In a similar way, for Kailash Yatra, one has to endure hardship for seeking the blessings of God. The mortal beings always show gratitude towards the ultimate divine strength. Kailash is the heavenly abode of Lord Shiva. Spirituality and religiosity keep everyone to climb up the mountains of Kailash.
There are pilgrims who are in constant search for inner peace. Very few can actually find the ultimate source of that inner peace. A complete balance between body and soul is needful to find inner peace. Kailash Yatra requires a complete devotion towards the god. Every year thousands of pilgrims travel to this spiritual space for its enthralling beauty. Many think why do we need to pay so much of wealth for Kailash Yatra? Nothing can replace the virtue of spirituality you will earn through Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The parikrama means the complete evolution of own self into a new being. In Kailash Mansarovar Yatra there is the inclusion of two circumambulations. One is around Lake Mansarovar and the other is around Mt. Kailash. Besides the pious mountains of Kailash stands the pristine Lake Mansarovar. The ancient canon of mythological literature showed how this holy land becomes the source of ultimate energy of life. It is believed the axis of the world stands on Mt. Kailash. Due to the sacredness, the pilgrims want to reach this pristine land with a pure heart. One cleanses off the sins by taking a holy dip in the waters of the lake before taking parikrama around Mt. Kailash. The circumambulation means absolute salvation of life.
In a lifetime, very few get the opportunity to revive their journey following a righteous path. Kailash yatra actually guides these souls to the right direction of Lord. Mostly on auspicious days of full moon, the pilgrims take this journey to witness the divine madness of the natural beauty. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra stands out as the symbolism of purity. The followers of Hindu, Jainism, Buddhism, and Bon Po travel to this spiritual land in search of liberating the souls. This majestic journey is for liberating souls from the shackles of sin and ignorance. The pilgrims aim to attain salvation. No one knows about the after death life. The pilgrims take this unforgettable journey for cleansing the sins of past and present life. One is in search of spiritual peace while taking this mystic journey. Mokshya follows the path of celibacy. It is not easily attainable. In a similar way, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra takes you through the path of spirituality to attain. We believe this pristine journey happens once in a lifetime, so we try to arrange the best resources for making your trip incredible in all respects.

The lake looks stunning in the morning and the beautiful sight of Mount Kailash makes it even more delightful. The water of the lake will be definitely very cold but the devotees are always full of spirituality and devotion and do not wish to skip this holy bath. It is to be noted carefully that the recent change in the law of Tibetan Govt has restricted dip bath in the lake and has categorized it as a punishable offence. So kindly refrain from going inside the lake and for the bath ask our sherpas only to bring water in a bucket for you. After dip bath and prayer the group is ready to drive to Darchen and will travel through Rakshasa Taal and Chiu Gompa by performing 70% parikrama of the holy lake. Today, we wake up early and after taking light breakfast, we head to Tarboche. Do not forget to fill your water bottle before leaving for the trek. All pilgrims have the opportunity to visit Yama Dwar before trek (kora) starts. Tarboche is the point (towards the South face of Mount Kailash where one can hire horse/pony to ride on the trek during the kora. The price and availability of horse/pony and porter is controlled by the local Union and Kailash yatra trip operators and our team will have no control over it. From Tarboche we proceed to Yama Dwar which is considered to be the start point of Kailash kora. From Yama Dwar we start 13 kms trek to Dirapuk slowly and gradually. The trek to Dirapuk Gompa today is fairly easy but as you walk in high altitude lack of oxygen in the air makes the trek little difficult, as you feel short of breath on the trek. We will take a stop in the middle of the trek where we find some small shops and tea stall and then again continue to Dirapuk. On reaching Dirapuk the pilgrims will see the majestic Mount Kailash standing high on right side of their trek. Take some beautiful photos and then continue to your guesthouse near Dirapuk Monastery. This day is considered as the toughest day of this entire trip as the trek goes steep up continuously up to Dolma-La pass (5630 m) and then steep down to Gauri Kund. Near Dolma La pass you will witness colourful flags around and belongings of people spread nearby. This place is called Shiva Tsal (Shiva Sthal). It is said that people performing parikrama must leave something behind here may be a used cloth or ornament or a drop of blood or a lock of hair which symbolizes the act of leaving this life behind and wishing for the end of a miserable life.
