Day 01: Welcom to Kathmandu, Nepal

 

This is the first day of your 3N 4D Kathmandu Package Tour. With a warm traditional welcome you will be greeted at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu [KTM]. Later you will be shifted to your pre-booked hotel. There with welcome drink you will be briefed for your next 3N 4D Kathmandu Tour. Enjoy your lunch (on direct payment) and relax. Rest of the day is free for your leisure. Spend the evening as you like. Roam about Kathmandu city, have some shopping in Thamel, taste local Nepali street food, stroll at Indra Chowk, you can also try singing bowl therapy in Kathmandu, go for night party at Prive Nepal etc. Enjoy dinner and get ready for next day exploration.

 

Day 02: Kathmandu Local Sightseeing

 

Post Breakfast in the early morning, and then start for full day Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour. First Visit :

 

Pashupatinath Temple - The Pashupatinath Temple, in Kathmandu, is the most famous and holy temple for Hindus in Nepal and a must visit place during Nepal Tour from India. Located on the bank of Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley, this is the home of Lord Pashupatinath - Lord Shiva. The Pashupatinath temple complex declared as the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

 

The Pashupatinath Temple Complex consists of 518 temples and monuments, out of these, the main temple are of Nepalese Pagoda style architecture. The main Garbhagriha, the innermost part of the temple, where the main idol placed. The main idol is stone Mukhalinga, has four faces in four directions. The temple has two courtyards, inner and outer. The inner courtyard is generally open from 5 am to 7 pm, and the innermost part of Pashupatinath temple, where Lord Pashupatinath placed, open from 5 am to 12 noon for ritual and viewing. In the evening, it is open from 4 pm to 7 pm for the ritual part. The Hindus from South Asia can enter into the inner courtyard, and Indian Jain and Sikh community devotees can also enter into the inner courtyard.

 

Boudhanath Stupa - Boudhanath Stupa is situated around 11 kilometers from the city center of Kathmandu and is of gigantic spherical shape. It is one of the major tourist attractions of Kathmandu. It is a common belief that the people who used to circumambulate the stupa with no ill thoughts in their hearts receive good karma. In 1979, this Boudha Stupa was declared as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The colorful flags around the stupa enhance the beauty of the stupa. You can also do some local authentic items shopping from here at a very bargain price.

 

Patan Darbar Square - Patan Darbar Square is located at the Lalitpur City, around 25 km from Kathmandu. The main attraction of this place, where Malla King of Lalitpur resided. It is also the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Patan Darbar Square is a perfect example of Newar architecture. The complex comprises of several temples and idols and houses with the Newar Architecture around the places.

 

Swayambhunath Temple - Swayambhunath, a must-see tourist attraction in Kathmandu is located in the heart of the city, on a top of a hill and it is a glorious ancient religious architecture. It is a holy place for both Hindu and Buddhists. The complex is comprised of main stupa, temples, many shrines and surrounded by lots of trees. You can find the eyes and eyebrows of Budhha in the local painting style.

 

Thamel - The most popular shopping destination in Kathmandu Trip. It has numerous shops selling from Nepalese Gems and Jewelry, Woolen Jackets/Shoes, Nepalese Arts and crafts and almost everything. Day 03: Drive From Kathmandu to Nagarkot [1 hr 8 min (27.6 km) via via Nagarkot Hwy]

 

Early morning watch the spectacular sunrise from hotel lobby of Kathmandu. After breakfast get ready for Nagrakot Tour. The journey from Kathmandu to Nagarkot is awesome amongst pine shaded trees on both sides. Every curve of this drive reflect the astonishing beauty of Nepal. Nagrakot is a tranquil picturesque place renowned for its spectacular view of the Himalaya Ranges at long stretch. Day 04: Nagarkot to Kathmandu Airport [Fly Back]

 

This is the last day of your 3 Nights 4 Days Nepal Package Tour. Wake up as early as possible as you will not want to miss the spectacular Sunrise view from the Himalayan range. The colors and vibrancy of the dazzling mountain peaks appears really awesome. After watching Sun rise, you can stroll around the mountain trails listening chirping of birds. Locate some of them if you can. Hear the morning bell and prayers from the distant monasteries. After a good mountain walk and exploration, return back hotel, complete breakfast and start forward journey direct to Kathmandu Airport. Depending upon your flight timings you can visit Thamel or some of the places of interest on the way to Kathmandu. Proceed to airport and start your journey way back to home with sweet memory of your 3N 4D Kathmandu Tour Package.
