Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon reaching Kathmandu you will be greeted by our tour representative who will transfer you to your allotted hotel here for an overnight stay. In the evening after freshening up you will be taken to the holy Pashupatinath temple to attend the evening Aarti. After the Aarti, you will be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Early in the morning after having your breakfast you will be taken for a local sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. You will be experiencing the lifestyle, attractions and culture of Kathmandu. You will be covering places like – Pashupatinath Temple – a holy shiv temple right next to Bagmati River, Jaal Narayan – located on Shivpuri foothills it is extremely ancient and important for Lord Vishnu, Swayambhunath Stupa – A giant Stupa along with a collection of shrines and temples, Durbar Square – the number one tourist attraction and a protected UNESCO world heritage site this is the center of social, cultural and urban life in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara via Manakamana Darshan.

07:.30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

07:00: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by private jeep, 8/9 hrs drive.

Enjoy the view of Greenery Hills, lots of small Villages, Trisuli River and Marshyangdi River on the way.

Note due to the road widening work, around 2/3 hours roads will be bumpy.

Enroute there is an option to visit Manakamana Goddess Temple via Cable Car ride. Might need to stand in line/queue for hours to ride on Cable Car and to enter the temple. Need at least an extra 3/4 hours to complete darshan.

After darshan, continue driving to Pokhara, 4 hrs drive.

Arrival at Pokhara and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 04: Pokhara to Jomsom via Enroute Sightseeing.

Early morning drive to Jomsom, 175 km, 6hrs.

Note due to the road widening work around 2/3 hours roads are bumpy.

Enroute there is an option to visit Baglung Kalika Mai Mandir, Nepal’s Longest Suspension Bridge, Galeshwar Mahadev Temple (Shakti Peeth), Natural Hot Spring, and Rupse Waterfall.

Arrival at Jomsom and transfer to the hotel.

Acclimatization night before going to Muktinath.

Overnight at Jomsom.

Day 05: Jomsom to Muktinath to Pokhara

06:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

06:30 AM: Drive from Jomsom to Muktinath by private Jeep, 1:00 hour drive.

Enroute there is an option to visit Kagbeni Dham where 2 holy rivers meet together and are very popular for Pirtri Tarpans and Kali Gandaki River Bathing.

Arrival at Muktinath and hike for 40 mins.

Unable to walk, can ride on Horse/Doli on own expenses.

Places to visit at Muktinath are Samba Gompa, Muktinath Yagya Shala, Vishnu Paduka, Swaminarayan Nilkanth Varni Temple, Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple, 108 Mukti Dhara, Paap Kunda, Punya Kunda, Muktinath Temple, Narshing Gompa, Buddha Statue, and Jwala Mai Temple.

11:00 AM: After Darshan drive back to Pokhara, 8 hours drive.(Approximate)

Late evening arrival at Pokhara and transfer to the hotel.

Day 6: Pokhara – Chitwan

After completing your breakfast you will be taken To your next fin destination of Chitwan. On reaching there you will be taken for a refreshing walk to the Tharu Villages located there. You will get to know about their unique culture and traditions. The local people there will then display some dance activities and shows in front of you. You will then go to your hotel in Chitwan where you will be spending the night.

Day 7: Chitwan Fun Activities

Early in the morning after having your coffee and tea you will straightaway head for the early morning elephant back safari. You will be exploring the jungle from the top and you will witness its thriving wildlife culture. If you get a chance you will be able to spot various animals here like monkeys, deer, wild boar, bison, etc. this ride will be of 2 to 3 hours long after which you will be taken for your breakfast. After this, you will be taken for a fun canoeing trip on the quiet Rapti River. Here you will be able to encounter some interesting marine and aquatic life. After a fun and thrilling day, you will be taken back to your hotel in here for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Chitwan – Kathmandu

Early in the morning after having your breakfast you will be transferred to Kathmandu via road. The road trip will be extremely scenic and Breathtaking with views of the magnificent hills. On reaching Kathmandu you will be transferred to your hotel here for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Kathmandu Departure

After having your breakfast early in the morning you will be transferred to your departure location which will mark the end of your trip with us.

Muktinath is a well-known Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site. Devotees believe that "Mukti," which translates to "salvation," is a sacred place where all their sins can be washed away.

The temple is best visited during local festivals such as Teej, Maha Shivratri, and Bala Chaturthi. From October to December is the best time to visit the temple. The weather is pleasant and dry at this time of year.
