Shivapuri Hiking Tour

Shivapuri Village is a destination village resort in Nepal which is 25 km from the capital; Kathmandu. Even though villages found in Nepal. Shivapuri Village is maintained in a true spirit of Nepalese village experiencebeing so close; yet it provides a visitor a glimpse of the remoteness and the grandeur of the and hospitality and lies in the buffer zone of the Shivapuri National Park, which is one of the few National Parks situated in any capital around the globe.

Shivapuri Village offers various activities to keep oneself busy during the stay be it in the form of Nature Treks and Hikes, Ethnic Village Tours, Bird Watching, Photography or just a simple relaxing leisure.  At the moment we have 3 exclusive huts with a total of 3 rooms and 2 Nepalese huts with a total of 5 rooms adding up to a total of 8 exclusive rooms. Since Shivapuri Village is located beyond the Shivapuri National Park and as one has to cross the Park entrance before arriving at Shivapuri Village, it is often advised to stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Meet assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal (16km.) and Hiking to Chisopani.

Day 03: Short Hiking to Shivapuri (2563m.)

Day 04: Trek back to Budhanilkantha and Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 05: Transfer to the International airport to connect onward flight.

 

Nagarkot Hiking Tour

Nagarkot, located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya when the weather is clear. Visitors often travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu to spend the night so that they can be there for the breathtaking sunrise. Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.

It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati river valley to the east. With an elevation of 2,195 meters, Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Valley and is described by visitors as a place whose beauty endures year round.

Many visitors prefer to visit Nagarkot in the spring when surrounding valleys break out in a rich kaleidoscope of different coloured flowers. The flowers are beautiful against the serene backdrop of the snow-covered mountains. Ever popular among the tourists are the short treks and picnics which Nagarkot offers. Treks from Nagarkot are unique and delightful. For anyone who wants to have an adventure without exerting much efforts, a hike to Nagarkot's surrounding areas would be a good option. One can traverse short distances on trekking trails and come close to nature's wonders such as the outer of verdant forests, flower-covered meadows and unusual rock formations.

Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal (1hour), and Trek to Chisapani (1915 mtr. 4/5 hours walking) O/N in lodge.

Day 03: Take breakfast and Trek to Nagarkot(1920 mtr. 6/7 hours walking) O/N in lodge.

Day 04: Take breakfast and Trek to Changunarayan (4/5 hours walking) and drive back to Kathmandu by surface (1 hour driving). O/N in Hotel.

Day 05: Transfer to the International airport to connect onward flight.

 

Balthali Village Tour

Balthali Village starts in a small village which is a small sleepy settlement which rests at the junction of Roshi and Ladku khola river. Balthali Village stands on a plateau which is just beyond Khopasi, 40km away from Kathmandu.The area surrounding the Balthali Retreat is thickly forested with lixuriant floras, colorful rhododendron, mangolia and sal trees cover the hill that undulates and opens out to terrace fields. The trek in the pure village like this have a pleasent feeling and worth for knowing the village culture and also we can promote Village Tourism of Nepal.

After dusk a myriad of flickering lights below the valley of Balthali Village comes alive.Nature lovers and bird watchers can spend days exploring and discovering some exceptional species of wildlife, tradition and culture untouched by modernity. This 'off the beaten location' has endless trials leading to some ethnic tribes thus, offering excellent short hikes and mountain biking on the easy trials. Many of the sacred and ancient temples and monasteries such as Namo Buddha, Indreshwar mahadev, Brahmayani Temples are located in this region and still needs to be discovered and unviel its mysterious past.

Pokhara Sarangkot Hiking Tour

This is a 1,600m high hill situated on the northern shore of Phewa lake. On the way to Sarangkot you'll pass through Schima-Catonopsis forest and there is a lot of opportunity to watch birds. It's a 2 hour walk from Phewa lake. On reaching the hill, you can find good hotels and a tower on the top of the hill from where you can view the Pokhara Valley and also the wide range of Annapurna. You can also see Phewa Lake and its tributaries. It's advisable to stay a night there and watch the sunshine in the morning and sunset in the evening

An hour walk from Sarangkot will lead you to Kaskikot. Kaskikot is a historical place and the homeland of the Shah kings of Nepal. THe word 'kot' means fortified palace from where the king ruled the area. There is a stone staircase leading you to the top at the altitude of 1,758m. There is a great celebration during the "Chaite Dashain" festival in April and "Bada Dashain" in October. From Kaskikot you can also reach Naudanda which literally means nine hills. Here you can meet the Pokhara - Baglung Highway and can observe entire Annapurna range in the north and Phewa lake in the South.  
 
This breath taking view is from Sarangkot. This hill is famous for the panoramic view of the annapurna Himalayan range. Pokhara is beautiful but it still depends upon how we take and feel it, but to be sure Pokhara is god's gift and is rich in natural beauty in all the ways. Sarangkot is also famous for paragliding purposes. It has the bird's eye view of the seti river, fewa lake, and the valley itself. This hill station is a 10 minute uphill drive from Aarchalbot. This route is also one of the short day trek route within the Pokhara valley. Tourist also hires horses for a trip uphill to the station. Local peoples have kept powerful binoculars for the viewing purpose of the valley and the mountains View of North part of Pokhara city from Sarangkot.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara by surface or flight.

Day 03: Drive to Phedi by car (30 minutes) and trek up to Dhampus (2-3 hours).

Day 04: Trek to Sarangkot with stunning view of mountain and tranquility village of Gurung and Magar people (5 to 6 hours).

Day 05: Early in the morning to sunrise view over the Whole Annapurna And Dhaulagiri Ranges including fishtail as well as other soaring mountain and back to Pokhara. Evening time Sight seeing in Pokhara. (Boating in fewa lake, Davi’s fall. Tibetan refugee camp etc.) O/N in Hotel.

Day 06: Transfer to Kathmandu by surface or flight. O/N in Hotel

Day 07: Transfer to the International airport to connect onward flight.
