Lumbini is famous with the name of birth place of Lord Buddha about 25 years ago he was born in southern part of Nepal. Since then the Nepal is popular as sacred place for followers of Lord Buddha. Lumbini is the small town which is located in southern part of Terai plans of Nepal at this place you can see ruins of old city. Lumbini is the place where you will see many ancient monasteries and stupas and Ashoka pillar which was erected by King Ashoka which has inscription about Lord Buddha’s birth.
Before the birth of Lord Buddha, his mother was dreamt about an elephant that has six tusks it was disclosed by an astrologer later that she is going to give birth to a great personality who later famous with the name of Lord Buddha. When mother of Lord Buddha was in her way from Kapilvastu to her Parental home at time she gave birth to Lord Buddha.
Maya Devi was queen of King Shuddhodhan of Kapilvastu gave birth to Gautam who was the prince of Kapilvastu under the tree. The warning was given to King Shuddhodhan by astrologers about prince Gautam that he might choose spirituality, after listening this warning King Shuddhodhan tried every possible way to make false the warning but he couldn’t. Later the prince Gautam has become famous Lord Gautam Buddha who was also the preacher of humanity and guides the world a better way of living their life. Since then Nepal is blessed with natural beauty and serenity where the legend was born. There is one place named Parinirvana place where some houses were placed that are reminders of Lord Buddha. Maya Devi temple and some structures built by King Ashoka are some famous attraction of this place..

Temples and Monasteries
Lumbini is the place where you can visit many fascinating temples and Monasteries like Maya Devi temple, the Buddhist Monastery also you will enjoy stupas at Lumbini.
Maya Devi Temple - The temple is dedicated to Maya Devi, in this temple the fascinating statue of Maya Devi is located which represents puberty days of Lord Buddha. The German archaeologist discovered the stupa then in 1895 many small temples built one after another to compose one temple. The possibility also has been found that Ashoka stupa exist in place of temples. The statue of Maya Devi is famous for its beauty and the way of representation of Lord Buddha’s childhood.
The Ashoka Pillar - The Ashoka Pillar was erected by King Ashoka which is also represents great art work. At the top of the pillar there is a horse which makes a great view and also represents many ancient stories which are related to Buddha.
The Pushkarni - The meaning of Pushkarni is pond, this is one of the scared pond situated in the southern direction of Ashoka Pillar. It is believed that Maya Devi took bath in this pond just before giving birth to Lord Buddha.
The Buddhist Monastery - The Buddhist Monastery came in the way of modern Buddhist temples. The architecture of walls is quite important and fascinating. Some murals of medieval periods are there in the middle hall of monastery.
Excursions
Kapilvastu - This is the place which is related to the legend of Lord Buddha and situated 27 km away from Lumbini in south direction. At this place Lord Buddha lived luxurious life of his childhood and teenage. Kapilvastu is the capital of King Shuddhodhan which still has mystic charm. The houses in Kapilvastu have many sculptures of Buddhism which make visitors calm and content and also represent the landscape. Kapilvastu is the place where visitors come to know about the childhood of Lord Buddha.
Day 1- Arrival at Kathmandu
Guests will reach at Kathmandu airport where they will welcome by NTP representative. After warm welcome guests will transfer at hotel where guests can take rest and relax themselves.
Day 2- Sightseeing at Kathmandu
After enjoying your delicious breakfast guide will take you for sightseeing of Kathmandu city. At Kathmandu you will enjoy Hindu’s and Buddhist temples like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath stupa and Chabahil stupa. Guide will also take you at Bajra Yogini and Gokarna which is the Buddhist shrine.
Day 3- Sightseeing of Buddhist and Hindu Shrine
On 3rd day of your trip guide will take you for the sightseeing of Hindu Shrine and Buddhist Shrine. You will enjoy Dakshinkali Temple, Pharphing Jogini with Monastery visit and Chovar Gorge, visit to Rudra Varna Mahavihar and Mahaboudha. After enjoying delicious lunch guide will take you at Patan Durbar Square where you will visit Hiranya Varna Mahavihar which is also famous with the name Golden Temple.
Day 4- Visit at Lumbini
After having your delicious breakfast guide will take you at Lumbini via flight. You will welcome by the reprenstative of NTP and then transfer to the hotel. After taking rest for some time and enjoying delicious lunch guide will take you for the sightseeing at Lumbini garden.
Day 5- Visit to Royal Chitwan National Park
You will drive to Royal Chitwan National Park after enjoying delicious breakfast where you will visit Buddhist place like Dev Daha enroute and Ramgram. In the afternoon you will arrive at Chitwan resort then after taking some rest and enjoying lunch then you will enjoy jungle safari at the back of elephant.
Day 6- From Chitwan to Kathmandu
After enjoying morning tea or coffee you will enjoy the jungle walk with naturalist for enjoying bird watching. Return to resort for enjoying breakfast after that a canoe ride at Rapti River for 45 minutes. Return to resort for leaving for Kathmandu.
Day 7- Visit at Kathmandu
7th day is the bussy day as you will spend your whole day for sightseeing of Kathmandu of Buddhist shrine. You will enjoy shrine like Swyambhunath Stupa, Kumari Ghar (living goddess), Kathmandu Durbar square, Kastha Mandap, Maru Sattal, Jana Bahal, and Kal Bhairav. You will enjoy lunch at city restaurant and the remaining half day for sightseeing of Nagarjun Hill and Balauj water garden.
Day 8- From Hotel to Airport
