Tour to Gosai Kunda
The lake in Rasuwa district named Gosaikunda is one of the famous Hindu pilgrimages of Nepal. The height of this river is 4,380 meters from sea level, it melts and flow down from Trishuli River. This lake comes in the way of Dhunche-Gosainkunda-Helambu trekking path. There are total 108 lakes in its outskirt from small to medium which also includes challenging Lauribina La pass.
The famous Langtang trek adjoins with the Gosainkunda trek. The specialty of lake is that it remains frozen from October to June. It is believed that during Samundramanthan Lord Shiva drank that poison which came from Samundramanthan and after drinking that poison he desperately in need of cold water so that he can quench the heat of poison the he dug the land by his Trishul and the lake is formed.
The beautiful sceneries of mountain and the meeting of Sherpas are magnificent places whose hospitality and kindness is very well renowned. Trekking for 8 days passes near to the scared lakes at Lauribina pass and Gosainkunda. 7 days trekking leads both side of the Melamchi Khola River and this trekking can also be done in winter. For this trekking it is advisable to plan one day extra so that you can spend one day at Melamchi Gaon which is a Sherpa village you will surely enjoy in this village.
Day 1- Arrive at Kathmandu
Guest will welcome at airport by the representative of NTP and then transferred to hotel. Guide will also brief you about the tour during the journey from airport to hotel.
Day 2- From Kathmandu to Dhunche
Guide will take you at Dhunche via road and you will transfer to guesthouse.
Day 3- Enjoy Trekking
On 3rd day of your trip you will enjoy trekking to singh Gompa. Rest at guesthouse
Day 4- Enjoy Trekking at Gosaikunda
You will enjoy trekking at Gosaikunda which is also a holy lake of Nepal. Spend night at guesthouse for relaxation.
Day 5- Holy Bath and Puja
5th day of your trip is busy day as you will spend your whole day in Puja and exploration of Kund, also you will take holy bath in the Kund.
Day 6- Back to Singh Gompa
You will trek back to sigh Gompa then spend night at guest house for relaxation.
Day 7- From Singh Gompa to Dhunche
From singh Gompa you will trek back to Dhunche. Rest at guesthouse
Day 8- Back to Kathmandu
You will drive back to Kathmandu spend night at hotel for relaxation
