This is 15 days tour in which you will visit famous National Parks of Nepal where you will find maximum species of birds. In one day you will see minimum 100 species of birds. At national parks you will also enjoy jungle activities and their cultural performances. You will also see many endangered species and different varieties of flora at national parks of Nepal.
Day 1- Arrival at Kathmandu
Guests will reach at airport and will welcome by the representative of NTP. Representative will drop guest at hotel and also brief them about the schedule of the tour.
Day 2- Sightseeing at Kathmandu and Patan
On 2nd day guide will take you for the sightseeing of Kathmandu where you will visit Swyambhunath temple which is also famous with the name of Monkey temple. This temple is situated at the center of the city from where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Kathmandu city.
Guide will then take you for the sightseeing at Patan city.
Day 3- Sightseeing at Kathmandu
Guide will take you at Pashupatinath temple which is the temple of Lord Shiva and located at the bank of Bagmati River.
You will visit to Boudhanath temple which is one of the famous temples of Lord Buddha and is also the famous pilgrimage for devotees of Lord Buddha.
Guide will take you then at Bhaktapur city.
Day 4-Visit to Phulchowki
This place is 15 km away from Kathmandu and it is also a good place for hiking. This is one of the famous places for bird watching in Nepal. Many varieties of Rhododendron are found at this place, you will find this species in many different colors.
At this place approximately 265 species of birds are recorded. At this place you will see birds like sunbirds, flycatchers, flowerpeckers, yuhinas, babbkers, rosefinches, tits, wablers, woodpeckers, minivets, thrushes, eagles and different species of migrant birds
At Godavari which is situated at the foot of the Phulchowki, near to the Royal Botanical Garden more than 100 species of birds are found which also include Tibetan siskin, Rackettailed drongo, and spotted forktail.
Day 5- Visit to Biratnagar and Koshi Tappu
You will reach at Biratnagar through flight and then Koshi Tappu via road. Koshi Tappu is at a distance of half an hour from Biratnagar. Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserves which was established in 1976 is the habitat for wildlife. At this place you will find wild buffalo, wild boar, Hog deer and blue bull.
More than 423 species of birds are found at this place which includes ducks, ibises, herons, egrets, storks, one can see more than 100 types of birds at this place in one day.
Day 6- Visit Koshi Tappu
You will enjoy bird exploring activity via boat or foot. Koshi Tappu is one of the best places of bird watching in Asia. You will see many varieties of birds that you never seen before, some land birds, some rare species of birds.
Day 7- To Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park is 9-10 hours drive away from Koshi Tappu. During the journey you will get many chances to see White rumped Needtail Swifts and lbisbills. You will welcome at jungle lodge and naturalist will share the information about national park with you. Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal where you will see more than 450 species of birds and many other species of mammals which include some endangered species too.
Day 8- Visit Chitwan National Park
This is your busy day as you will enjoy jungle activity whole day. Activities include jungle walk, elephant ride, canon ride, exploring a jungle on jeep and much more. In the evening you will entertained by cultural dance by villagers.
Day 9- Activities at Chitwan National Park
You will enjoy all jungle activities like birds watching, jungle walk, nature walk, cannon ride etc.
Day 10- From Chitwan to Royal Bardia National Park
Guide will take you at Bardia National Park which is located in Terai. This is one of the most undisturbed wilderness areas and also it is the largest lowland sanctuary in Terai. After Chitwan National Park this park has second largest population of tiger in Nepal. This park is fully covered with trees and carpeted with grass.
Other wild animals like one horned Rhino, Swamp Deer, wild elephant, crocodile and much more are also found at this park. Some endangered species like lesser florican, silver-earned mesia, Bengal florican etc are also found.
Day 11- Visit to Bardia National Park
You will enjoy jungle activities like elephant-black safari, jungle drive, nature walk, bird watching and trekking in Churia Hills. Enjoy the night at tented camp
Day 12- Visit to Bardia
You will enjoy other activities like cultural visit to Tharu village, Gangetic Dolphin Viewing, enjoying rafting in Karnali River. Enjoy Tharu cultural performance in the evening
Day 13- Bardia to Nepalgunj, then flight to Kathmandu
Nepalgunj is 2 hours drive away from Bardia then you will fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 14- Shopping at Kathmandu
This is your free day at Kathmandu, you can enjoy shopping at the market of Kathmandu.
Day 15- To Airport
You will transfer to airport to board to the flight for onward journey.
